Navigating the Blog

To celebrate our 100th issue of Savings for Sisters, we've now created this blog.  There are many reasons for this, not the least of which is that it will allow readers to access not just this week's letter, but old letters ("posts") as well.  With the help of my daughters, I have even included most of the past recipes, along with some of the weekly tips, etc., now available to you any time you open the "Savings for Sisters" blog.

It will also make it easier for you to share with others, as all you have to do is send the link to anyone interested and they can subscribe to get weekly emails sent to them directly by entering their email address into the bar on the right-hand side of the blog where it says, "Sign up here to get your weekly 'Savings for Sisters' Update by Email."  I know many of you have been forwarding the letter each week to friends and family.  From now on this will not be necessary, as they will be able to have it sent directly to them.

The online blog is organized to help you easily find past recipes and tips. At the top, there is a menu bar with categories like "recipes," "tip of the week," and "food storage" to help you narrow down the posts. There is also a list of recipe categories on the right-hand side. Or just above that, there is a box that says "search this blog" where you can type a word or phrase such as "zucchini" and it will pull up a list of all posts containing that word.  If you have questions or comments about a particular recipe or deal, you can click on "comments" at the bottom of the post and leave a comment or question for me.
